Checking out Ahipara? This lovely little seaside village in the far north of New Zealand is probably the best thing you have done in a long time. Most visitors claim it is how they had envisaged their New Zealand experience to be. No big tourist resort or thousands of people. Or for Kiwis, the real get away in their own country.

The apartment has a large open planned lounge, with 8 seater wooden dining table and fully equipment modern kitchen which includes a dishwasher and large gas cooker. Two bedrooms: double and twin, sleeping four. Fully equipped laundry. Shower inside and one outside too, to cool down after a busy day.
Sit in the patio area and have a b.b.q., picking your own herbs to flavour your meals, or add fresh lemons to your drinks.
Have breakfast on the deck overlooking 90 mile beach and the 18 hole challenging true links golf course (Golf clubs, cart or coaching for hire).

Or just sit back and do nothing but enjoy the attractive garden. Or do some day trips to great historical places: Cape Reinga, Gumdiggers Buried Kauri Forest, Whale Museum, or visit the Hokianga Harbour,
Waipoua Forest and Tane Mahuta the giant Kauri Tree. Explore these fantastic spots for your photo archive.
And when you want to entertain yourselves around the village, just click on the activity banner, and again you'll be amazed by all the other interesting things you can do. Horse back riding on the beach or tour around the reef on the saddle of a quad bike? Pick some tua tuas or catch a fish?
Diane and Mark have lived in many beautiful and interesting places around the world, but in their view nothing beats this great place. And we'd like to give you the opportunity to join us in enjoying Ahipara as much as they do.
